Evan’s school has been spending a lot of time talking about the National Western (Denver) Stock Show lately. He’s heard all about the cowboys and the animals, so Lara and I finally broke down and went to the show. We walked around the exhibit hall, which included a petting zoo, pony rides, and plenty of junk for sale. Then we caught the “Wild West Show”, modeled after Buffalo Bill’s old shows. It was fun, with most of the horse riding and roping tricks you’d expect. The boys had a good time, and have now decided they want to be cowboys, as you can see…
