Christmas season is in full swing. Last weekend was our adoption agency’s annual Christmas party, which included a visit from Santa. We also saw our friends from Thornton who adopted a little boy (Andrew) from the same orphanage that our boys are from just a few months later.

Last night, our day care held their annual Christmas concert. Nothing gets you in the Christmas spirit like watching a bunch of infants on stage to “Run Run Rudolph”! The highlight for us of course was the boys singing Christmas songs. They led off with “The 12 Days of Christmas”, and finished up with “All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth”, which as you can see is a pretty appropriate song for Evan this year.

Finally, today was the annual “Breakfast with Santa” that is put on by our neighborhood association. It’s quite a change from just three years ago when the boys were afraid to sit on Santa’s lap. Now we need to prep them to keep their wish list short so Santa doesn’t get confused!

  1. These photos and video put us all in the holiday spirit. My guys look great, and I bet they can’t wait ’til Christmas morning. We’re looking forward to more photos of them with their fun presents and smiling faces — and wishing everyone a very merry Christmas and happy New Year!

  2. Watching the video of the concert was great, almost as good as sitting in the front row! Loved the boy with the number 10 sign and the boy second from the right in the front row!! Santa is probably very busy these days considering Evan and Alex were able to see him twice so far and give him a list both times! Thanks for sharing. Love Grandma Judy and Grandpa Gary.
