We had one opportunity for tent camping this summer and thankfully the only rain was just prior to our arrival Friday afternoon. We were able to enjoy fires and marshmallows both nights, with the second night including two other families each with twin girls Evan’s age. The boys tried fishing again but we still need to teach them how to be patient and actually let the fish come to the hooks. But Evan sure has gotten the hang of casting!
If you ask Alex, he’ll tell you his favorite things about camping are sleeping in the tent, and hot cocoa. I don’t think they mind being able to pee outdoors either. 🙂
