Here are a few highlights of our backpacking trip in the Holy Cross wilderness area from July 18-20, 2003. The Holy Cross is in the heart of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. Our trailhead was about 5 miles South of I70 past Minturn (just West of Vail).
