We hiked to Ouzel falls from the Wild Basin trailhead in Rocky Mountain National Park. It’s normally about 3 miles round trip, but an emergency bathroom call about a half mile into our initial attempt added some extra distance. We took a pool before starting up the trail again, and got a unanimous ‘yes’, so we pressed on. It was a beautiful day. The trail follows St. Vrain Creek past several small waterfalls and cascades.
