Another annual event in Colorado is the late spring blizzard. We got about a foot of heavy, wet snow from Friday night through Saturday, crushing tree branches and the newly bloomed flowers. The bright side was that it made for some great sledding. The slopes in the open space behind the house were well covered and very slick. As you can see, it was a beautiful day to be outside.
